Paula joined Sigrun in 2021 as Managing Director. She is in charge of the Real Estate and NPLs area.

Before that, since 2013 to 2021, she was Director of Institutional Sales at SAREB, responsible for the portfolio sales activity and institutional investors sales in this Assemt Management Company created by FROB in 2012. Also in Sareb, she previously held the position of Director of NPLs related to the loans managed by Haya Real Estate, overseeing the activity of a portfolio of over €40bn in debt, where she led significant restructuring and refinancing processes for key players in the Real Estate sector.

From 2007 to 2013 she was part of the Structured Finance team in Credit Agricole Madrid, originating and managing big ticket financings of key Commercial Real Estate assets in Spain, including managing and restructuring of loans within securitisation vehicles and leading negotiations in big ticket syndicates.

Paula began her professional career at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in Madrid in 2002, subsequently moving to RBS London where she joined the Structured Finance department of Real Estate UK.

She holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE, E2), and a PDD from Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI).
